Running off to college later this summer? Starting off on your own or entering a dorm is a scary thought. Not only do you need to look super cute and have it all together, you need stuff. Lots of stuff!
Target, our fav discounter has come to the rescue.
Target is offering an awesome "College Checklist" in their expanding dorm shop. Everything from bed linens to stupid silly stuff like light bulbs is listed. We found this list hanging up in the frame department, and we were impressed. (I know, easily entertained ...we have covered that one before).
Items from cleaning supplies to storage bins are listed in a check list of sorts. Now you need not go to Target to find your needs, but use their knowledge base and think! You have a good month, start a list.
Get a large piece of paper and post it somewhere you always see ...Bedroom door, closet door, you choose. Hang a pencil or pen near the list and each time you walk by, LOOK at the list. In a few weeks distinguish wants from needs. A couple of weeks later, start to explore the possibilities and start a budget. Then ...SHOP!
Grab your mom or your bff, and shop yourself silly. Shop the sales, shop the stores you love but cannot afford for ideas, shop the web. Keep in mind the size of your car for transporting all of your finds, the size of your budget and the size of your room.
